September 25, 2017
2016-2017 Webinar Series:

Katherine J. Cramer, PhD., Director of the Morgridge Center for Public Service and a Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison

During this presentation, Katherine will discuss her fieldwork over the last decade where she has invited herself into conversations among people meeting in 27 rural communities in Wisconsin, describe the pervasive and intense resentment she heard in smaller rural Wisconsin communities toward the Madison and Milwaukee metro areas and describe how this perspective matters for the way people think about public policy and the future of our democracy.
