Rob Beach joined FCI in 2021 and serves as the organization’s Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Rob works with all facets of the organization including the finance, compliance, borrower support, and lending departments. A core part of his day-to-day activities revolve around his work managing FCI’s NMTC program and portfolio. This work includes a wide range of activities related to the following; business development and partnership opportunities; Investor capital raising; NMTC application writing and submission; deployment and structuring of current NMTC allocation; and oversight of asset management tracking and CDFI Fund compliance reporting.
Previous to joining FCI, Rob worked for an urban and NMTC consultancy where he focused on NMTC transaction structuring and closings with municipal and banking clients, as well as on behalf of NMTC borrowers across the country. Additionally, Rob spent seven years in various roles at the Local Initiatives Support Corporation – New York City Office. Rob holds a B.S. in Political Science and Legal Studies from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and a MPA with a focus on urban development and sustainability from Baruch College in New York.
