Portia Adney joined FCI in June of 2024 as the Partner Relations Manager. She is a recent graduate of the UW-Madison MBA program with a specialization in Real Estate Development and Investment from the prestigious James A. Graaskamp Center of Real Estate. She holds a certificate in Entrepreneurial Management as well. Portia was honored to attend the university as a Consortium, Forte, and Distinguished Graduate Fellow. During her time at UW-Madison, she held leadership roles as the Communication Chair of Graduate Women in Business and Co-President of the Real Estate Club.
With a diverse career spanning over two decades, Portia has acquired valuable experience in various fields and devoted her career to working with organizations, projects, and individuals that actively serve for the betterment of communities and society. She has dedicated over 20 years to theater, film, and TV and spent a decade in education as a teacher. Additionally, she has amassed over 25 years of experience in customer service, sales, and marketing communication, and has over 5 years of experience in real estate.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Portia continues to volunteer her time and expertise to organizations such as Women in Focus of Madison, Inc., a nonprofit organization focused on offering college scholarships to underserved minority high school students in the Dane County area; to The Rainbow Project, a Madison-based nonprofit that supports families who have faced trauma; and as a collaborating artist with local artists and musicians on original works of art.
