Katie serves as Chief of Staff at FCI and works to ensure the execution of the organization’s goals by coordinating cross-departmental efforts and driving operational excellence. She holds a BA in International Studies and Russian from Macalester College, and an MA in Education from Alverno College. She served as both a Peace Corps Volunteer and a Teach for America Corps Member, and spent the last 10 years teaching middle school English.
Through her wide-ranging experience in the nonprofit sector, Katie has developed a deep passion for creating positive, systemic change in underserved communities. In her free time she enjoys hiking, gardening, and reading.
