Eric Mazelis joined FCI in 2024 as a Senior Community Lender. In this role, Eric focuses on CDFI originations, underwriting, loan structuring, and relationship management for non-profit organizations, diverse developers, and small businesses seeking access to capital. He assists on due diligence, pipeline development, and loan closings for NMTC transactions. He brings a diverse background in supporting community economic development, having worked in small business lending at Accion Chicago (now Allies for Community Business), as a Business Relationship Manager at Chase Bank, in municipal economic development for Oak Park, IL, and most recently in the New Markets Tax Credit space at Broadstreet Impact Services.
Eric holds a B.B.A. in Finance with a Political Science double major from the University of Notre Dame. He resides in Shorewood with his wife, son, and cat, and enjoys running, traveling, and listening to podcasts in his free time.
