Forward Community Investments (FCI) is pleased to announce the addition of Darrell “DJ” Hines II to its Board of Directors. As a respected leader in Milwaukee’s faith, nonprofit, and business communities, Hines brings a wealth of experience in community development, operations management, and economic empowerment that will help advance FCI’s mission of stabilizing neighborhoods and fostering economic opportunity across Wisconsin.
Hines currently serves as the Chief Operations Officer for Christian Faith Fellowship Church (CFFC) and Plaza, Wisconsin’s largest predominantly African American church where he oversees daily operations of CFFC, The Darrell Lynn Hines Academy, Destiny High School, a staff of 50, and a wide range of additional community-focused initiatives. His leadership extends to the Board of Directors for both Hope Street and Girls On the Run of Southeastern WI.

His extensive professional experience, combined with his dedication to economic empowerment and community development, aligns seamlessly with the focus of FCI’s work across the state.
Hines joins the Board as FCI expands its partnerships to advance solutions that empower communities to flourish. His leadership will be instrumental in furthering FCI’s commitment to investing in Milwaukee and beyond.
